About Us

Josh's Hot Dogs, formerly Wolfy's of Northbrook, proudly serves the Northbrook Community. Josh Kaplan opened his Northbrook store in 2009 and continues to operate the store with excellence in food quality, store cleanliness and customer service.

A few highlights include, but are certainly not limited to:

We use all beef Vienna Beef hot dogs, a Chicago favorite
Our “Famous Polish Sausage” truly is one of the best around- try it and you’ll agree
Our hamburger patties are fresh, never frozen, and are made with 50% beef brisket and 50% ground chuck. This leads to a lean and flavorful burger that we serve on a cornmeal dusted bun
We proudly feature a Midwest favorite, Merkts cheddar cheese
We stand by our homemade Italian Beef Sandwich as one of the best you'll ever taste
Our Grilled Salami Sandwich on French bread will tickle the fancy of any salami lover
All of our salads are always fresh and our dressings are homemade
Our kids meals are all under $5.00

We are proud to support local schools with sponsorships and school lunches, and we take pride in our charitable donations. Josh's caters private parties, corporate events, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, church functions, Birthday parties, weddings, school functions, and more. Carry Out and delivery are available.

Hi Josh!,

Well I have to tell you that my daughter Maddie and I can't get enough of your AMAZING Greek Salad with grilled Chicken! I noticed on your website you highlight your polish Sausage, Italian Beef, etc, but you don't mention your Harrison's chicken. I haven't had a more delicious, fresh tasting grilled chicken salad anywhere better in my lifetime! Don't keep it a secret! For those customer's who think you are a calorie packed Hot Dog place, they need to know about this salad!!!! We love coming to get it to go, or even better seeing your smiling face when we come in! You WILL see us soon!

Our poolside barbeque looked wonderful with your tents set up on the grass. The food, of course, was delicious; and all of our guests loved that the food was unlimited!
